    Maxwell windlasses

    Fawcett Marine in Annapolis is having a sale on Maxwell windlasses- ends 8/23. Worth checking out if you wee planning to buy one anyway and hadn't got around to it yet.

    I have no connection with them other than being a loyal customer of theirs.

    A little ticked off at Maxwell right now. We have a pair of 4000 windlases on the boat I run. The chain strippers are mounted on the hawsepipe. Both are broken and the windlass has to be removed to replace the hawsepipe. Crappy design And they re back ordered for about a month from New Zealand.
