I bought BANDIT, a 1966 34 Convertible HIN 34C-004 and I understand that re-powering was done by Mark Giovanniello sometime around 2007. The twin Cummins still have less than 900 hours. I have done a lot of work on her over the last two years. I also cruised her from Newport RI to my winter home in Southport NC. Plan to cruise to RI again this summer. I was hoping to be able to chat with Mark Giovanniello but I can't seem to PM him here. Anyone know if he is still in CT and how I can contact him?
Thanks!

Re: Mark Giovanniello
I almost bought BANDIT before you. I looked at it and was talking with the owner (really nice dude, btw). I had the checkbook out, but decided to pass because 34c was just too small for me--so I started concentrating and eventually bought a 41c.
The point of this post: I was able to call Mark and chatted about the repower and work he had done to BANDIT. He'll be glad to know she's in good hands and being used. Sounds like you are enjoying herFTFD... i drive a slow 1968 41c381

Re: Mark Giovanniello
Krush. I had a verbal headlock on Brad not to sell unless he turned down my offer. We hit it off and are still good friends.
I am still a bit stunned that I am proud owner of this fine vessel.
Am having a new survey tomorrow AM after near 800 man-hours of upgrade. She may be the earliest 34 C still afloat ... and in excellent condition
After all my work, new survey for insurance value will be conducted tomorrow AM.
I am proud and happy.
Planning a cruise north from winter berth in St James NC to summer berth in Coasters Island Navy Marina, Newport, RI beginning June / July 2018. Return trip to NC in SEP.

Its just money.
I pay the a bit more than a house and a slip at a marina would be seperate but its worth it.Scott
