    What is this?

    Is this something anyone's seen before? Something to do with the toilets. My old Hatt had Galley Maid toilets. It didn't have all this stuff..

    here's another one. That vertical, white metal tube above the engine mounted on the wall. port side 53ED.

    OK so this is a stock installation for vacuflush?

    (looks problematic for such an esteemed commode system)

    The manufacturer or a dealer installs them. I don't know if it's stock or retrofit but if it works it's probably fine.

    I see a white PVC pipe that is part of the sea chest drain.

    I agree with Sky, that is the sea chest for drains and bilge pumps output, should have one in the other engine room also. John

    I agree with Sky and John however my sea chest was built into the hull and covered in fiberglass.
