    I follow that procedure every time I start the motors. No matter if they've been sitting for two days or two months.

    Good idea. For that and other reasons I'm converting the shutdown solenoids my 3208s from Energize To Run to Energize To Shutdown.

    It's not a bad idea to check those solenoid return springs for corrosion.

    I'd pull the valve covers and check the racks and injectors for sticking but that's just me cause I've had 2 runaways. Like Tony Montana said "Ima Paranoid"
