Didn't know one existed. Just opened it tonight. Shows 4.8 stars but I too don't see it.

I do not use Facebook and see no reason to. And no, it's not because I'm too old.

Not sure where you're seeing stars, but it's a relatively small group with a few HOF'ers on it as well. Was started by a HOF'er and not affiliated with this site.

Facebook is garbage. And I am the facebook generation. It came out when I was in college and only college students could join.

The thought that occurred to me when skimming it was the fact that the posters there seemed clueless... Whining that no rendevouz events exist for them, etc. just weird. Additionally, how can you be a Hat owner, and NOT know about SAMs as a resource?Perhaps Hatteras corporate started it? Very suspicious in any event...

I have to wonder if we're talking about the same group as I've never seen anybody whine about anything.

Again, it was started by another HOF'er, at least the one I'm talking about. I remember very well another HOF'er on there whining (imagine that) that it may be considered an infringement on this site since they named the group, "Hatteras Owners". Yeah, that's a real catch phrase and should have been copyrighted.

Here's a link to the group I'm talking about. You non-Facebook'ers will just have to use your imaginations. I find it funny how so many will post anything and everything about themselves on an open forum such as this one, yet they're afraid or otherwise disliking of Facebook where you pick your audience. It's all good.

Facebook is as good as you want to make it... Personally I don't get into this gossiPH checking in everywhere thing or posting those damn selfies or reposting trash.
But... I find it very useful to keep track of some topics of interests or hobby related stuff like America's cup, offshore racing, wooden boats, classic cars, etc...
