1968 50' Hatteras Motor Yacht FOR SALE $79,900

M/Y Felicity is for sale. She has been a great boat for us and we have been continuously upgrading her. Newer Awl-grip (2013) from the rub rail up. Changed the 32 volt DC system to 24 volts in 2013-2014 and everything that goes along with that. Tons of new stuff. 12ft Livingston center console dinghy w/ 25hp Yamaha OB w/ power tilt and trim and electric start. Lives on deck with the fixed arm davit. We live aboard and keep all systems in great functioning order, she is a good clean boat. We rent an affordable slip in Fort Lauderdale that is steps to the beach that can convey if interested. We really hate to sell, we are just getting the boat dialed in. With work changing and our 12 year old daughters needs changing it just makes sense for us right now. We went to the Exumas from May 1st - June 15th and had our last hurah for a while. We will be back in a few years. We really love the lifestyle.

OK, I sent you and email...... did you get that? It had "for sale" in the subject line, so it may have ended in your spam folder.

She looks like a nice old 50. Good luck Felicity. She might be a super buy for someone.

What's the reverse cycle hvac situation on the boat ? i.e. does it have the usual split system Cruisair units running on R22 refrigerant, how many units and about what age are they ?

The engine hours would be a little concerning if turbo but being naturals 3K might be not bad at all if maintained well.

Those are 20K hr engines if treated well, 18k if not. You can't hurt 'em as long as you change the oil.

This seems like a great boat. If I was in the market this one would get a close look. Good luck with her.

Not sure I agree with that as in 1989 I owned a 1978 40C Egg Harbor with 6n71 naturals where previous owner managed to harm both to the extent they needed complete rebuild at around 5,000 hours.

He was pretty meticulous type too so can't imagine him not changing the oil.....but I can imagine him running the boat flat out most of the time as he kept it in Rudy Inlet (Virginia Beach) and was thus close to the offshore fishing action.
