    I know BUT

    1) I don't need them so I'm kind of kidding.
    2) if he did want to take my offer I will buy them and put them in inventory.

I'm a man of my word.

If you want the delivery job I can up the beer to a premium brand.

What'd you end up getting for them ? There were a couple Stidd's like that at the last Hatteras auction, new in boxes, that went dirt cheap but I hadn't actually bought a boat yet, plus they were brown color so I didn't bid.

I got very lucky and sold them as a pair for my starting bid price on eBay to a gentleman in Bermuda who had just purchased a 90's vintage 50' Hatt sport fish. He is happy as as the proverbial pig in shit as he would have paid roughly twice that amount with duty and shipping and I got an excellent price for them. I have purchased many chairs at the Hatt auction(s) and this is certainly the exception to the rule, they usually languish in my living room for months and then someone comes along and buys them for $2500.00+/- Certainly was much more enticing when the auctions were "employee only" and you could buy a brand new Stidd for $300.00 !!! Funny you should mention the brown chairs....those were Pompanette platinum series chairs and I bought them to put on the 58' Hatt MY that I run for a local business man. I didn't make a dime on the resale but certainly made my Boss happy !!! Not to mention my ass is a lot happier sitting on one of those!
