That is a slow boat. If it where quicker I would consider it.

I have a nice 28ft Hatteras Cruiser, I`ve lost interest in restoring her,
as much as I want to do it, money and time won`t allow it, It`s in great
shape needs new engines and trannys but everything else is there.
All offers of cash or trade will be considered, bigfisher at centurylink dot net,
give me a shout, I`d love to see her back in her natural habitat.

actually the 28 came stock with twin 318`s that with a basic load would run out at 45 mph per their original specs, I`m sure diesels are much slower but still an awesome boat.

Nice! Fun the watch the 28 cavorting, and especially jumping the wake at 5:47.

Re: RARE Hatteras sighting! 28 Sport Fish

i know this is a 10 year old thread....... I recently came into possession of a 28Sportfish. i saw a few members had built pretty extensive database and had some data on these older boats( i think only 31 were made.. Longshot, but anyone know any history on sportfish Hull #29? Shes gonna get a full rehab over the next few years. im thinking of going with Yanmar 4lv250's with the 2022 edition of this old girl.

Any info would be appreciated. 29.jpgbow.jpgrear.jpg
