Pressure setting for shipboard water pump (for 53' FBMY)

I'm installing a new pressure switch and would appreciate information on the recommended pressure settings for this system. Thanks.

the 25-40PSI range is pretty good. Most common mechanical pressure switches have a 15-20PSI differential between cutout/cut in so although you can adjust them, you can't change the pressure spread. Ours is set at around 40 psi cut out which means the pump triggers when the pressure drops to around 25. Be sure the expansion tank pressure is set properly based on the pump setting for best system performance (about 2psi below cut in pressure).
