    Around here it seems like houses are following the same trend. Tract mansions built out to the curb with no yard space at all. It's all about interior amenities. Big kitchens that nobody uses for cooking, a home theater to watch cooking shows, whirlpool bathtubs, etc.

    Once upon a time people wanted a yard for their kids to play in and to picinic or barbecue with friends. Today it seems like everybody wants Air Conditioning, video games and big screen TVs. So I guess it shoudn't surprise us that people want the same thing in their boats. Of course it does beg the question "Why would you want to be on a boat and not enjoy being out on the water?" Emphasis on the word out,.... we seem to be becoming an artificial environment society.
