Anyone know this 42' CMY in F. Lauderdale?

    "Lil Adventure"

Seems to have everything the Admiral is looking for except a washer & dryer. (Easy fix)

Has 375 HP TA Cats with 1550 hours. Not sure if that's a bit much or not.

    Your kidding right?

Looks like a sea ray or carver with a hatteras badge.

The boat belongs to a member and is listed here. They came with a combo washer dryer. I am very familiar with the 40's and they are great boats and are suprisingly good sea boats.

The Mrs. found it on Yachtworld. One thing I have learned over my many years of happy marriage is to let the admiral make decisions on matters such as this.

So who is the owner? - if reading this, send me a PM

Jim I though you were looking for a convertible.

FYI here is what I thought it looks like

A 40MY with a 2' cockpit? Never saw one before, but that's a pretty small cockpit. As for the specs on YW, surely the 4'10" draft is an error.

Nope, it's not what I'm looking for anymore, it's what SHE'S looking for. Essentially the smallest, quality made livaboard we can find. She wants a cockpit for ease of boarding and lounging, a comfortably sized island bed, a washer/dryer, a tender for exploring. For motor yachts, it has to be Hatteras or Viking. Trawlers are an option but she's a bit uncomfortable with life at 7 knots. Personally, I would LOVE a Nordhavn 40 but it would take some selling to get her to come around.

We have a 40 nordy for sale here and I think it's a neat boat. The pilot house is small but otherwise a great 6 kts passage maker.

For live aboard I love the 49 Gulfstar / viking but no cockpit. That being said for 2 people I'd probably look for convertibles.

She likes the comfy cozy aft staterooms of MY's. Think you need to go pretty big in a C for those kind of amenities in side or forward master.
