Of the one interior photo it doesn't look beat up.
But I guess that's all the photo's you get for $9,800.

Worth 10K? Maybe? Maybe not? For the cost of the engines rebuilt, for a Viking.......

Just replace the engines and rotten stringers and you've got yourself a heck of a boat. My guess is that he owes $9800 in slip fees.

It's a 40 not a 41, big difference in value. That's an old looking boat with poor performance, poor ride and construction. Very little market for a good one let alone a project. They had 671N that would only cruise around 15-16kts and top out at 18-19kts. I'd hate to have to rebuild them in that cramped ER. They only carried around 350 gls fuel so range is limited. I wouldnt take it for free.

Correct guys. That's a 1981 Viking 40. The redesigned 41 model was introduced in 1983. I thought the 41 had a superb ride. The Viking 46 pounded the daylights out of you.
