Like I have said, this boat will be too nice to put in the water. You might as well just donate it to the Mariner's Museum as a permanent exhibit. Of course it will make everything else in there look like a rowboat. LOL

Re: 1969 Chris Craft Roamer 46 refit
Here's a thought: You "sponsor" the donation by reimbursing me for the cash I'm into it, and I'll toss in my labor as a freebie.
Deal?
:-)

Be careful Q. While I'm sure you have plenty of cash into the project so far, it's probably a small amount compared to the value of your labor. Someone may take you up on your offer..... A "new" roamer for the cost of some new parts? what a deal lol

I'm sure I'll start getting all kinds of offers from Nigerian princes...

Oh, probably, but your average prince isn't much of a boater. LOL

Q, Send me the title documents to your boat so we can use it to transport some gold bullion from Nigeria. For your trouble we will split the profit with you. Good deal (for me).

Chicken bouillon is golden, but I don't need a containerload.

Re: 1969 Chris Craft Roamer 46 refit
This is definitely the season of stainless. But I shifted from rub rail and stanchion polishing back to engine room stuff. I tacked the exhaust risers together a few months ago, then went to work on the CAD programs I use to try and make electronic files that could be used to cut the showerhead parts on a water or laser jet. That was a real pain, but I eventually got them done. Then I found a fab shop in North Carolina that cut the parts for a very good price...they fit perfectly. I still need to fab the raw water inlets, but the basic parts are ready to be welded.
