After the 60° F we had last weekend, I thought winter was done. But it turns out that damned shadowphobic rat up in PA might be right after all. We've got 5° F for overnight lows coming, and winds gusting to 60mph. I hope the tent holds up. If it doesn't, I'm blamin' Punxsutawney Phil!

But before the cold snap nails me starting tonight, I'm keeping the progress up on the aft state walls.

With low temps hovering somewhere in the vicinity of 10°F recently, progress has been a bit slower than I'd hoped for this winter. Fortunately, the kero bazooka heater doesn't take long to heat up the aft stateroom. Progress is happening, and it's all in the right direction.

Thanks! Though I think the missus might disagree with you on the patience part...

Yes! I always wanted a Chris Craft boat! But we got lucky and we got a Hatteras instead but I'm looking forward to your rehab posts. I've done a lot myself of paining and redecorating our 50' 1966 Contagious. CC boats are more well known in this area than a Hatteras. Look up my posts from 1966 Contagious here you can find me!

Hi Contagious! I've been watching your paint thread.
I'm from the west coast, too, so I know what you mean about Chris Crafts being more plentiful there than Hatterii. I suspect that's why I ended up being a CC man.

Speaking of which, the project continues here. I caught a boo-boo that I made when fitting panels recently. Fortunately, it was easy enough to recover from it...no harm, no foul, just more time spent marking and cutting and moving big panels around inside a confined space.

Do the exhaust runs go through the back of those cabinets?
