    is the deck under the mast on a 43DC?

    There should be an access hatch in the ceiling below the mast base see where the wires go up and youu can see the deck thickness, I would guess from memory,, 1 1/2 " tops...

    Been there - about 1/8" for top skin + 3/4" for balsa core + 1/8" for lower skin.
