    Inches of Water column or inches Mercury

    Checking back pressure on exhaust, was told 3 " WC max.....does not seem right, should it be Mercury instead...??? manuals are at the shop...

    Engine idles at 8 " WC..

    Problem solved......should be inches mercury.....

    3" Hg, 41" WC, or about 1.4 PSI. What ever is easiest as to finding a gauge.
