Has anyone changed the exhaust flange on a series 1 36c? I need to go from 5" to 6". It looks like I will have to drill the bolts out and pull the tube thru after the muffler is disconnected. I checked Sam's site to see if they had any just in case I screw them up!!!!

Yes we all have done this during a diesel repower from gas. I used bronze 6" exhaust flanges. You should be able to get inside and unbolt the old flanges. It is easiest if you run all the exhaust tube in through the transom holes then attach the new flanges last. The mufflers will have to come out into the engine room.
Vetus makes some large diameter exhaust hose that is good quality and easy to bend if needed. They also make a 6" ex flange in some type of resin/RFP product as well if you are interested in something like that.
