    On ,my 12 71-s I removed all the zincs, I added drain valves at the salt water side of the H/E's and everything drains at shutdown.

    I thought the same re the blue/green on one of the fittings on the HE but it turned out it was a seeping gasket. I replaced the gasket when I pulled the HE last year for cleaning and there has been no repeat of the green despite no zincs being used.
