Had an hour today to tinker with it. I bought a bottle of Finesse it at Marine Trader...also picked- up Rejex there. The guy said Rejex seems to be a favorite polymer these days. I have a crate full of other stuff, too.
So, I chose three spots on the bridge and tried cutting that poor, neglected paint with different products. It's kinda' hard to tell, but I think the old tried and true 3M Marine Restorer rubbed the oxidized paint off the best. The bottle was left from polishing all the eisenglass.
Therefore, the plan will be to rub away that dull, old oxidized paint with the 3M Restorer and then polish it with Finesse. When that's all done, a nice coat of Rejex will be applied. Yeah, I think I'll hire some detailers to do it right this first time.
