It's back and this time it WILL sell. The current bid is $70,000 and the reserve has been met.

Whoever buys that boat, I hope they really like the marina where it is docked. With the water level where is it this week, there is no way to get under US 1. Well, I guess removing the flybridge, or flooding the bilges would do it.

Re: How low can they go? 58YF for $75K NR

I was on this boat to take a look at it ( looking for a new boat/Hatteras) and this boat is rough. The owner spent a large amount of $$$ in the wrong places. But if someone is handy its a steal. It was to much for me to handle repair wise.

By the way.. anyone in Florida know of a 50 to 60 Hatteras MY for sale????

My number is 561-665-0745 or email: rp33064@comcast.net

    Thanks

    Is it gone?
And what do you think it would take to buy it? And then ship it to CA?

Looks like the Winning bid was US $70,000.00 Just how rough was it? Even if it needed $100,000 in work...it could be a deal.

Dave, $100K wouldn't even make a dent in a refit on a tired old, worn out 58 YF.

If it's a basket case, you are absolutely right which is why I asked how rough it is. $100,00 can do a LOT of updating to a boat that simply needs cosmetics and systems updates but is mechanically and physically sound.

If you are asking about the 58 LRC at the above link, I think it is still on the market. Price, I have no idea, in todays market you need to ask while flipping thru a large wad of cash! I'll be happy to run it to CA for you, but its too big to ship over land. Try Dockwise.com.

How far will $100k go if the 58 needs a lung transplant as well as cosmetic surgery?
