    7.5 kw Onan Generator Part

    Can anyone help me locate a place to purchase a Ceramic 4k 15W resistor. The wire coming out of one end broke off just inside the resistor. Onan can't sell me just the resistor. I found one a little larger at a local electronics store. I think it was a 5k 25W. It sold for about $3.00. Onan wants about $260.00 for a complete board. Any ideas?

    Send me a picture of the resistor. Is it rectangular or round?

    William,
    I appreciate the response but I finally got it fixed. A guy repaired it by piggybacking several small resistors onto my board. Works great! Coat of $8.00. I must be doing something right.
