wondering if anyonre knows what the avg fuel economy i can expect it has cat diesels 3160 i believe? its non turbo im pretty sure also. also whats the norm for cruise rpm? and max rpm? this was my fathers and i dont know a whole lot about it....yet

I don't know the exact details, but you can figure about 1NMPG at slow speeds (maybe 8 -10 knots) and around 3/4 NMPG at normal cruise...the older four cycle Detroits get about .5 or so NMPG at cruise.
My 43 with 6-71's naturals gets close to 2 mpg at hull speed. Push her to 14 kts and she does about .6. Bill
