Forum behavior

To our members: the purpose of this forum is to provide a welcome space for boat owners, boating enthusiasts, and their friends and families, to meet, to gather, to exchange ideas and knowledge. It is also a place where boating items can be advertised, within the limits of our rules as set out in that section.

This forum is not for the airing of political views or advertising. It is not for personal disputes, whether they begin on the forum or not. Take those kinds of posts to other forums. We expect that forum members will treat all posters and forum members with civility and kindness, regardless of who they are or what they bring to the forum.

Persons posting political material, posts that are disruptive or abusive to other forum members, or in any other way objectionable, will be asked to remove those posts, and refrain from that behavior henceforth. If the posts aren't removed by the person who posted them, they will be removed by moderators. Continued bad behavior will result in the offender being banned from the forum. Circumventing the ban by logging back in using a fresh IP address will result in extension of the ban for a period determined at the discretion of the moderators and forum administrator.
