I agree with Pascal. He should know first hand what the cost would be from rebuilding his own 53. And his was in good shape.
If you can call a hurricane beat up boat with 20’ of open toe rail, shifted bulkhead, portholes on the floor “in good shape”
Did you notice the bow pulpit has been ripped off? The guy would do better parting it out.
In the photo on the first post, I don't think it is a 1967 50 MY.
Value add in that the portholes have already been removed for repair and refitting. Toe rail has been removed for sanding and rebedding. Lots of favors done in this description to help and benefit the buyer......
Nice thing about my 53C was that there was no demo to do. This is an animal of a project.
