Ice Maker problems fixed with water chiller

I recently installed a 60lb clear ice icemaker into the salon. Worked great, didn't like the fact that the unit had to have a drain, but I installed one. As the outside water temp started to rise the ice production started to drop and then stopped. The water coming into the ice maker was very warm.


I then installed a whirlpool water chiller ( new product) fits easily behind ice maker. Ice production is fast and plentiful. Next project is to install return to water tank from ice maker drain.

Water chiller at Lowes for $169.00. Thought you might want this info if you have experienced the same problem.
