Hi again,All of the custom work in the stern area, steps and tender sling were shoddy . Salon doors hard to manage, and the aft area has been exposed to the weather for some time. They were asking 99,000: not worth 50Tom

We had looked at this in 2018 and loved it, I know it isn't a 53 but basically a 53 with a cockpit:

Thanks to all you guys who commented on my question regarding the 53 'ADRASTEIA'. I'm now recovering from a stroke that clobbered me a week after my original post.
Down, bit not out.
Still determined to find the right boat, even if it takes awhile longer.
thanks,
Mel
That may have been God's way of keeping you away from that boat. :D
FWIW, it's on Yachtworld again. Might want to wait a week or two before you look at the listing, just to protect your health. Seriously, hope the worst is behind you.
Thinkin' I might just have a look at this old girl, before she gets lost. Now if I only knew a delivery captain to run this boat up to the Myrtle Beach Yacht Club Marina.....:D
Thanks,
Mel

Get Freebird. He's pining for a single engine boat with two propellers.
Thanks, but I've got the famous part covered...had to grow this beard to conceal the real 'Elvis' on vacation' identity...:D
I'll let you know if I make the trip to FL see it. What should I figure the fuel burn at for the trip to Myrtle Beach?
Thanks,
Mel

At 9 kts, fuel burn is about 9 to 10gph. Figure 700/750nm going thru the Okeechobee WW so roughly 800 USG
