  2. Global Warming - if you believe it's us...

Good article here that injects some common sense into the "Jump on the band wagon, aren't we so trendy!" global warming issue. I suspect common sense is totally unwelcome and will be of little influence since the Hollywoodites, Hollywoodite wanna-be's and their fawning fans have embraced it as...

  3. Great Lakes Water Levels

Maynard brought this up on another thread, but I thought it warranted it's own since this is BIG problem. The water at our marina which is on the east side of Lake Michigan has gone down another foot in the last 2 weeks. Although the level usually drops some in the fall, I am getting more that a...

  9. Our First Chesapeake Cruise

Yesterday we completed our first cruise since we moved Brigadoon to The Chesapeake Bay in May. Unfortunately, due to the Admiral's work issues, our planned 2 week cruise was only 6 days. :( We had a wonderful time and the first thing we both said was, "I wish we'd have moved the boat here...

Wife and I have been looking for several months at 53's and 58's. This will be a live aboard during the summer up here in new york(lake erie). She loves the cockpit for water access. 15. Things that go boom and Kids!

"There are three major categories of boom on a boat: combustible fluids, electricity, and large swinging objects. All three things are destructive. All three things can and do kill people. 20. Doing your own maintanance

I ran across a quote from the 1952 Vincent Black Shadow (Motorcycle) owners manual, NOT the service manual, the OWNERS MANUAL, that indicates what Vincent expected of their motorcycle owners: "After 1000 miles, disassemble entire engine, check everything, reassemble." Nothing in there about...
