    the senerio: both banks of 4-8 volt batteries need to be replaced. My friend says to install 2- 12 volt and 1- 8 volt on each bank. He says there is a huge cost savings, the batteries (12 volt) are fresher, and if you need to replace one on the go, they are easier to find. Also saves about $2,000....
