  1. "Free" 36C on eBay

Not sure how the heck you could come up with a contract that allows the current seller to have two weeks per year use of the boat in FL for the next 10 years or how well it would have to be kept up during that time. Guy probably only uses the boat two weeks per year anyway. ...

  2. "galley down"... any photos of modified dinettes that are more comfortable ?

Say on the 1977 to 1989, 53 to 60 Hatteras....any of you modified the dinette to make it a "U" shape or anything ? Original is not terrible of course but not the most comfortable thing in the world either....thinking in terms of spending time there at a laptop, not just eating.

  3. "group" pictures?

I was thinking that it might be neat to have pics in some central location of us hatt site guys and gals. I realize there are pics of some people in various places but there is no central location to find them. There should be NO cheating - for example, no pics of Brad Pitt, posted as being...

  7. "House Boat"

Took a dinghy ride up the Ortega River and encountered this "House Boat". It appears they are enclosing the aft deck with metal 2 x 4 studs and home improvement store windows. Creative I guess but nothing surprises me at my age.

  8. "Hyltonian"

Those of you with time on your hands and nothing to do with it, which describes a few of us, might want to look at Bluewater Yachts site and view the Tiffany Yacht convertible they have listed for sale, called "Hyltonian" Words fail me (actually they don't, but I suspect far more entertaining...

  11. "Legal liveaboard locations" SW Florida

Now that the Florida anchorage regs have been written and acknowledge that a "vessel in navigation" is not a liveabord vessel, should Broward county relax it's policy on liveaboard vessels behind homes on canals, or, is the New River not part of the State or Fed jurisdiction?? A vessel in...

  12. "My Emeralds" Extended 82' Hatteras MY 1977

Does anyone know who owns this boat currently? She was sold in 2013 in Virginia as "My Emeralds". I'm told she has changed hands again - maybe twice. Former name was "Moonbeam" I have this nice framed photo that I would like to pass on to her owner. Anyone know her?
