    I am looking for a 10' tender. I looked at what was available at the Miami show and I'm thinking about a Zodiac Yachtline 310 RIB or an Avon 310 RIB. Both are rated at 4 persons and 15hp.   8. 12 volt light fixture

    I have a light fixture just inside of my cabin door (38 fbdc)that has a fitting for a regular 120 vac bulb. Problem is, there is only 12 vdc going to the fixture. Where in the world do I find 12 volt bulbs with a 120 vac base on it? Thanks, Rick

  11. Clam Shells 58yf

    I just repainted my 58yf and installed all new Clam Shells. Does anyone know why the large clam shell on the port side in front of the engine room vents is open on both sides on most/all boats? Does this need to be this way? The new clam shell I installed is not.

  12. Question GM Capstan and Gypsy removal

    OK, the diagram says that the capstan *should* pull straight up, by removing the top plate from the Gypsy. Except THIS gypsy dfoesn't have a top plate. I'm doing a direct replacement of the whole assembly, so: How do I get the bugger off?

    I am able to get an "Arctic Air" a.c. cooling pump. As mine was on sub duty and antique to boot, I'll probably replace it. Is this new unit a mag drive type. Parts guy doesnt know. Can you put a pc. of dowel into the pump and turn the motor by hand and have it slip? ws
