  2. Best source for zinc anodes

    It seems I need some replacement zincs, is there a preferred place to buy them? I need 4 for the Wesmar thrusters, a couple for the shafts and some discs for the rudders and tabs. Some need replacement ASAP others can wait a bit, but I want them all on hand. Thanks.

  3. Looking for this Gate Bracket

    This is a little bracket that lets the opened rail gate rest and keeps it from teak-against-teak and getting mold etc. build up. Can't find anything similar anywhere - Sam's has no idea. A clever substitute would also be welcomed.

  6. Stuck Water Filter Canisters: Suggestions?

    These filters are for my water maker which I haven't used since I bought Aslan about four years ago. I recall the cartridge canisters were stuck then. I think they'll rip the screws from the bulkhead if I apply any more force. Anyone have any ideas on how to un-stick them?

    I checked the site to verify maintenance information on Lilly Marie's 10200 Capitol Gears. If its here I couldn't find it, but did find a web site with Capitol gear manuals http://capitolmarinegear.com/manuals-part-lists BTW it recommends 30wt oil, I've been using 40 as used in the Detroits

  9. Cleaning salt water scum out of the bottom of toilet bowls

    I think I have tried everything to get the scum from the salt water that sits in the bowl for flushing. Anybody know of a product or a method to make them look like the ones at home? Mine are Galley Maid.

  10. temp gauges readings

    My VDO temp gauges on my 8v71s are reading 220, but my mechanicals are at 185. I pulled the ground on the bridge and both gauges pin at the high side. also, my gen gauge wont go above 100. Any thoughts on where I should go next? ive had problems in the wiring/fuse panel in the past with dirty fuses...

  11. help with shore power cable wiring

    My boat is 50a 125v and dock is 50a 250v. I have female 50a 125v plug (for boatside) and male 125/250 50 amp plug along with 50ft of 3 wire cord. Can i just connect the 250 plug to the the 3 wire cord?

  19. Washer and dryer

    You guys that have Bosch dryers are yours ventless? I am looking to replace ours and all the Bosch dryers seem to be ventless and require a lot of air space around them which our boat installations do not have. A couple of others brands also are ventless. Need suggestions. Thanks John
