    I would like to draw on your collective wisdom to see if I can solve an overheating problem I have with my 8V71TI port diesel. The temperature is ok as long as the RPM's stay at or below 700. Over 700 and the temp goes fast over 185. This is what I have done but the problem still persists....

  11. shift cables

    I have an 80 model boat with Morse Controls on the upper and lower driving stations. The shift cable on the port engine is very stiff at both stations as well as a throttle cable on the other engine. Is there a way to fix this by undoing the cables and twisting them in some way, or another...

    I have always had hydraulic or fuel hose that used AN fittings made up by a shop. However, the fittings are "re-usable" so I figured I'd remove the old fittings, cut the new hose as necessary, and install the old fittings into the new hose, thus saving some money... However... I can't get...
