  2. A.C. Distribution Panel

On my A.C. Distribution Panel my Power On indicator light will flicker and even go out when I apply a heavier load such as Water Heater or Inverter Charge. Voltage and Amp Gauges all look ok. It happens with either shore power on generator. Any thoughts?

  3. 6v92 - One engine varying speed

Boat ran fine last time out, and no work done since other than zinc replacement. Yesterday afternoon, running both with and without the sync engaged, the port engine stayed a steady 2100, but the stbd varied from about 2050 to 2150. Any suggestions on where to start looking?

  4. Stiff engine controls

1979 43DC with DD 671N's. The flybridge engine and tranny controls are "stiff" to move. The lower bridge controls are very easy to move either shifting trannys or throttles. I have Glendinning synchronizers. Is there a prescribed lubricating schedule for these Morse cables or control heads?? ...

  6. Feul Filters

I have the Racor Model 1000FG series turbine filters on my DD 671N's as primary filters ... these are the filters that come before the secondary filters at the engine. I use the 2 micron filters in the Racors. My question is: Do I need to change the filters in the secondaries at the same...

  7. Circuit breaker

I need help troubleshooting the 110V GFI circuit breaker installed by Hatteras in the main panel. The breaker is tripped and will not reset. I am inclined to think it is just tired, but would like any suggestions on checking the branch circuit to find a wiring problem before I replace the breaker...

  8. A Sincere Thank You from the Gina Marie

I purchased my 45C in late February, I sold a 26 Conquest Boston Whaler with outboards. Needless to say this was certainly a step I wanted to take but really had no idea of the magnitude of the task that was unfolding before me. I was told by many brokers when in search for my 45C that their...

  11. 3M 4000 bedding compound

I removed the overhead hatch in the bow of my boat today and used 3M's 4000 to rebed it. It took me 20 minutes to squeeze enough compound out of the tube to do the bottom of the hatch. It was very stiff and I had to use all my strength. I was so disgusted I went to another marine store and bought...

So last weekend I replace that "fuel return cooler" that was leaking coolant into the raw water side. Add the DD Pro 2000 stuff and water, burb the turbos. 14. Exhaust Extensions on 53MY

While looking at boats prior to purchasing the current one; I saw some exhaust extensions that I thought would really cut down on the "station wagon" effect. They are made from schedule 40 PVC and extend the exhaust out under the swim platform and direct it out the side. I am hopeful that this...

Has anyone changed the exhaust flange on a series 1 36c? I need to go from 5" to 6". It looks like I will have to drill the bolts out and pull the tube thru after the muffler is disconnected. I checked Sam's site to see if they had any just in case I screw them up!!!!
