  2. Village Marine Water Maker

    Yanked the 4 8V batteries (one with a bad cell) out today. They actually were not as heavy as I thought they would be, which means there's less lead in there which means they were not the best and that's why they only lasted 4 years.   5. Generator fuel line pickup

    1973 38’ FBDC - Is the generator fuel line pickup in the port tank higher than the engine pickup? The generator is not getting fuel from a tank with about 1/4 full. Engines work fine.

  19. 1988 Paint Question

    What brand on paint was used in 1988, and is the non-skid the same paint with an additive or is it "non-skid paint". I'm getting ready to re-paint the non-skid surfaces and gleaning information. I have repaired gel coat boats and used acetone, for cleaning and prep, but not sure on a Hatteras.

  20. Prop calculator, 4 blade versus 5 blade

    Can any members compare these two propeller sizes and tell me if they are roughly equal? 27x30 4 blade compared to 22x26 5 blade. as soon as the extra blade is added to the equation it seems all bets are off for comparing them from the info I've found. .
