Helm lights

Question for all of you. I have an issue with my helm lights which I can not figure out. When I turned on the helm lights the first gadge on the port and starboard side would light up very bright but the others would all stay dim. I called Sams and ordered all new light bulbs per spec. I changed all the light bulb and have the same issue. What do I need to do to make the all the lights same brightness? The dimmer nob seems to work fine when I adjust it but the two outside helm lights are the only ones that get bright. Thanks in advance for your help. 1979 53 MY

I would check the grounds on the dim bulbs

Maybe they're wired in series.....LOL

Check the backs of the gauges. Make sure the bulbs on the dim ones are fully seated in the back of the gauge.
