I've made an offer on the subject boat. It was originally delievered with gas engines and has been repowered with 454 Crusaders.

Are there any issues with this year and model that I should look for? I will have it surveyed next week if my offer is accepted.

Two of the stanchions for the railing are "loose". There is no evidence of water damage inside the cabin. Are these thru bolted or are they mounted with wood screws? Is this something that could be repaired with Clear Penetrating Epoxy (CPS)? I'm concerned that the stanchions are close to the hull - deck joint and will complicate the repair.
