Tachometer sending unit

One of the electronic tachometers on my 671TI engines
is not getting any signal. The electronic sender is fine but it appears that the sending mechanism that the electronic transmitter is attached to needs to be replaced.
The spline is fine but the right angle gear that connects to the transmission seems shot. Has anyone gone through replacing this ??? no part number on the piece ??
any help or suggestions are appreciated.

P.S. The president and service manager were MOST helpful when I had some questions on a 25 year old synchronizer unit.
