If you cut up the old refrigerator to get it out of the galley, does anyone know what brad and model you can get down the companion way so you don't have to cut the deck?

Thanks Orion

have you looked at Sub Zeros? they are not cheap :-( but are much slimmer than standard fridges... 24" I think, the same depth as the average kitchen counter.

better spend a little more on the fridge and not have to tear the boat apart.

you got me curious... i looked at the subzero site, they're all 24" deep vs 30" for the older GE that I have in my 53 right now. Most of their over/under fridge/freezer are 27" wide...

these woudl be easy to get in... and they are excellent quality... one less thing to worry about....

I am just about ready to cut up my old Fridgidaire in my 53. I like the LG side by side, only 24" deep, 250 lbs, 19.5 cubic feet, and about $1500. I noticed that there are many brands that now make counter-depth units that should go down the companionway.

Mine has a Kitchenaid KTRF18KT in it. Looks like it would fit down fine with the refer doors removed.
