How long should I expect the 8D battery to last when on anchor without the generator running. The only house load is the Norcold ac/dc refrigerator. I believe the battery to be somewhat new and in good condition. It will currenlty last about 4-5 hours before it depletes to less than 50%. I would appreciate any experience you wish to share.

You can calculate that based on the refer's amps drain and the battery's A/H rating. Bone up on it by going to the Rolls Battery site, Haert Interface site, etc. or google it.

Get your battery's rating from the manufacturer. They usually rate them in for 20 hour ratings, which means that a 100 Amp Hour battery can put out 5 amps for 20 hours (but it can't put out 100 amps for one hour). It'll be 50% drained in 10 hours. Make sure all ratings are at the same voltage.
