For those of you who haven't seen it. Here are a few More Details. What an awsome boat. Wouldn't mind having one if it came with a life time Pre Paid Fuel Card.

We watch two mates on the bow of a 70+ rail-less Viking anchoring in flat calm water. The anchor was in a bow compartment with a hatch. One mate fell in the water with the anchor. It was comical to watch. I don't know how you could anchor one of those without a rail in choppy waters. They look good but very impractical.

With a 300 mile range it's not a real good tournament boat.

The specs show 28-30kts a range of 421nm, 32-34kt cruise a range of 414nm, 35-37kt cruise drops range to 366nm. Top speed 40-42 kts. This is with the MTU power

That's the first thing I noticed too. Even a "slow" 30kt cruise only gets you 365NM range. I'd think the extra 750 gls of fuel would be standard and not an option. Performance seems similar to the older 70C. I Would have thought she'd run a bit faster with the 2600HP MTUs and a hull that should be designed and built for speed.
