My boat is a 1971 43 dc. It has a lube oil change and storage system. The last oil change I manually pumped the oil out. It took 2 hours per engine. It is time to learn how the factory system works. Does any one know where instructions might be found?

Re: lube oil changer instructions
Uhhh, maybe you could figure it out yourself. It shouldnt be to complicated. A reversible pump with a on/off switch, some valves to direct the oil flow or some sort of manifold, a discharge hose, maybe a waste oil tank, etc... Take a good look and maybe you can figure it out. Post a pic. if you can...
Good luck!

Re: lube oil changer instructions
shoudl be pretty simple... mine has a reversible pump and a manifold with valves for the mains, gears and genset.
warm up the engines, pump oil out (i use a spare pail to put the discharge hose in). Then i take a new pail, put the hose in and reverse the pump to refill.Pascal
