Since my friend and me hitched a ride up with her boss in his twin comanche, we only got to stay two days. It was AMAZING. Next year I will be there at least for 4 or 5 days.

I've attended Oshkosh twice, both times we camped in the north 40.
The first time I flew a rented Cherokee Six 300, the second time a 182.
Both times my uncle from Deleware met us there in his Cardinal.

It's 15 hours+ from San Diego (MYF)

I went there the last two years in our 182. Now I am taking a treatment for my prostate cancer that keeps me from having a valid medical certificate. Oh well, I have 18000 hours of airtime so I guess I have done that enough. Now I am trying to sell my great 182 and at a very attractive price if anybody is interested.
