Sorry for asking a dumb question - never had a boat with trim tabs before..
The SB trim tab is going down fine. How does it go back up? Does the pressure of the water push it up when I hit the up button while under way?
The Port tab seems to be stuck (in the in /or "up" position). I hear the cylinder humming, but the bar on the back is not coming out (pushing the trim tabs down). I tried jostling the bar as the cylinder was humming and no results..
Any ideas?

Re: Trim Tab Stuck..
If I remember, that is an electric screw operated tab. Most likely there has been water intrusion. I would loosen the hose clamps and slide the boot out of the way and see what is going on. Make sure you have voltage at the one you don't think is running and go from there. I think there is a reduction worm gear that drives the shaft in and out. Could be a lack of grease, sheared pin or a stripped gear. Good luck.
