Have a 1965 41DC with 426 Chrysler Wedges.
I need to replace a tach (SB tach doesn't go over 2000RPM) , 2 fuel gauges (1965 model gauge not compatible with new tanks), and a water temp (P side doesn't work... )
I would hate to see portion of the gauges to be original Hatt gauges, and the rest be a different color. So now I am thinking about buying one of those Faria sets for $150, that have all the gauges.
Having said that, do you know id I need to replace all the senders as well?

gauge replacement Questions...

Re: gauge replacement Questions...
The senders have to have the same ohms as the guages. If they don't you'll get all kinds of crazy eading like 80psi for oil pressure when it should be 40psi. The guage should tell you what ohms you need.
