Take a look at my summer project:

Hull is in good shape w orig gel coat. On port side is a large primer spot that needs paint so I'm wanting to repaint. Very few scratches to fill and fair, but I do want to do a two tone paint job, white bottom and same green on hull sides. What's involved in prep and what should the per foot cost be? I want to do a complete hull repaint.

Painting an old Century Resorter

Re: Painting an old Century Resorter
I just finished a hull repaint on my 45. I used Interlux Perfection. Paint is VERY user friendly and can be rolled on with a fine texture foam roller, yielding pretty good results.

Depends on the tools you have and if you spray. $500 low tech roll and tip to $1500 for spray job and buying tools.

YAEH...yet another expensive hobby...albeit with lower entry point. Looks beautiful and I remember and did run the original woody Resorters...those were the good times, b4 global warming, etc.
