    needed instrument stuff

    I am trying to find a used 42 (?) volt voltmeter for the 32 vdc system. My lower helm has one thats a dud. I hate to buy a new one for $$$+ ! I also need a tach cable insert for the port tach for the 58' Being 600 miles from the boat, I'll take a chance on something fitting. Any help is appreciated! ws

    I cant believe that no one here has a 42 volt meter from a refit I have at least 20 "feelers" out right now and ZERO luck ! FWIW ws

    I have a full set of instruments from a 1978, 53c with 12V71s, it was a 32 volt system. The instruments include water temp, Oil pressure, trans., tach and voltmeter. All were working when the boat was dry docked on12/20/06 for an engine replacement. My new engines are electroninc and 12 volts. I have not removed from the console yet. I will be taking them out within 2 weeks.

    Tach is electric. All gages are VDO.
