can anyone explain how to post pictures using the little icon inside the "Post New Thread" box? I cannot figure out how to attach a picture file. I tried the FAQ list butt nothing is there.

    Re: posting pictures how-to???

Hey man-- I got the heads up from Akin Tosyali (sp) he posted links to his digital library using microsoft Front Page. My old lady said its pretty simple; shouldnt take me more than 2-3 weeks to figure it out!
I think thats the way to go-- I would sure like to see more pics of projects
(yours and mine!) get posted. The system in place now is kinda archaic.
A pal and I are cutting down some GIANT oak and hickory trees here, ask STARMAN if he needs any "knees". These and rounds (20"ish) are ruff cut with a chain saw and need finessing. They are extremely clear and hard as a rock.

    How to post a pic............

I upload pics from my computer to photobucket.com it is free.

After you upload a pic to photobucket.com, follow these steps.

    1) resize your pic to 50 %

    2) below the pic are 3 boxes, highlight the bottom box. ( this is for linking to this or other sites )

    3) minimize that screen, bring this screen up and hit reply

    4) click on the "mountain" right above this subject box , and another box will pop-up

    5) bring back photobucket , copy the highlighted info from the photobucket box and paste it in the pop-up box on this site.

    Hit reply

    CORRECTION

    When in photobucket to resize:

Hit the "edit button" tight above the pic. there will be a box show up with a "drop down list "

Click the resize for " message boards"

if the photo you uploaded is already that size, the message board size will not show and there is no need to re-size.

Been awhile since I used the account and they improved it alot.
