Based on what I've seen so far, it's a good thing nobody posts the "good ones". It might just overload the server if you did.

Yeah, like I was telling Ang and Pascal, that was my own darned fault, Ed. I should have had the guy with the best cellular on my boat message our in-transit smallboater friends to look about 4 boats to the south of us where another of our friends were, tie up with them temporarily, and then we could have been free to anchor up where "Hatt Central" was. We could have pathfound them back with our Zodiacs after we got settled. Everybody was just so worried we'd never find them in that crowd, with them getting in late and all.

sail boat race ? what sailboat race ? :-)
they used to have hundreds of boats racing, i think they're down to about 100 these days. too bad as joking aside it used to be quite a show. now they anchor out just north of eliott, off Sands Key, not to mix up with the party.
Paul, I was on Reel Estate when randy was trying to tell you where we were via VHF with a lot of traffic on that channel. not sure what went wrong :-)
next time around I'll put a diagram showing how to get there, it's a little tricky to know where we'll be but there is usually a lot of space closer to shore.Pascal

Now that you've had a taste of the "South Florida Hatteras Owners' CDR Rendevous", who's in for CDR 2007?
Ed and I have already started talking about the plan for next year with regard to what we can do to enhance our experience. Pascal's probably thinking about a water maker....We want an inverter and dinghy like Pascal's....LOL
