Hard wall exhaust hose or silicone

Time to replace these short sections of hose on the raw water inlet pipe. Hard wall will be much more supportive but silicone will be easier to work with if I need to remove the pipe…like for impeller replacement, currently pia . Six of one, half dozen of the other or is one choice a clear winner?

You will need hard rubber hose.
I fear silicone would draw/suck down with its softer sides.
Anything after the raw pump in blue hose would be fine.
