Allison transmission oil??

Have a Hatt 50 Sportdeck with DD 6V92s. I use the Rotella T pure 40W in the engines. Should I be using the same oil in my transmission?

Yes straight 40 for the gear. Make sure you check the level with the engines idling.

The same CF-2 oil used in your Detroit is prefect for clutches.

That's what I was doing on Pau Hana, and PO said that's the only oil the transmissions ever saw.
